The Westin Westminster

I had a great experience at The Westin Westminster. Parking was spacious, easy, and stress-free, which made arrival and departure incredibly convenient. The staff throughout the hotel was friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. Every interaction felt smooth and well-managed, which really sets this property apart. I attended an event here and everything was flawless—from the setup to the service and overall execution. It was clear the team was organized, attentive, and experienced, making the entire experience seamless. This is a well-run hotel that delivers on comfort, service, and event excellence. I would absolutely recommend it and look forward to returning.

We enjoyed our stay. The rooms were very nice and clean. We were comfortable both in the rooms and in the lobby. Be aware that they charge for Wi-Fi use. The conference area was nice and clean. Only problem was one side was freezing and the other side was burning up. I was glad there were some restaurants close enough to walk to, but wish there were more.

The Westin has become our trusted goto when visiting family outside Denver. It is a lovely property with plenty of shopping and dining nearby. The rooms are relaxing and the famous Westin Heavenly Bed are magnificent. The staff is ever warm and helpful. The only disappointment is that the Marriott Bonvoy Elite guaranteed breakfast is now capped at $18.

Th e hotel entrance is very nice. There was a convention happening when I visited so it was super crowded and noisy becuase of that. But the hotel overall in nice. They have a coffee shop and little gift shop. There's not a gas station on this side of the freeway so expect to walk/drive a distance if you need items from a gas station. There's all kinds of food located nearby. There is the Butterfly pavilion and move theater across the street. It's right off of I36 freeway. Only some rooms will have a mountain view. But the place was quiet once you left the entrance and rooms were super clean and nice. Price to stay here for a night is pretty pricey! I mean the hotel isn't spectacular. I've been in nicer ones before. Downtown Denver from here with traffic is easily over 30 mins drive. There are a lot of happenings here at the hotel.

Unbelievably great experience at this property. The rooms are akin to sound isolation chambers. The staff, incredibly polite and professional - these people smile & greet you when you enter the room, genuinely refreshing in the post Covid era. Add to all that that this is a very clean, dog friendly property, 5 stars becomes too few to fairly rate this hotel. My advice: opt for the Mountain View. You won’t regret it, neither will your four legged companions…. (See pic).

We always stay at the Westin in Westminster when we visit the Denver/Boulder area. We stayed over Thanksgiving this year and it was a very comfortable and quiet stay overall. The location is great - next to a large park (to take my dog to), an AMC, and near a lot of other choices for food, entertainment and shopping. Ethan helped us at check in, super nice guy and very welcoming. The staff overall greeted us always and just made us feel safe and welcomed. The room itself was pleasant - great views, temperature was easy to control, it was quiet and the bed was the most comfortable!! Yes, the hotel is a bit worn but everything else made it an excellent stay. We’ll be back! PS: There’s a new restaurant on the property and we never went to it, so can’t say much about that but the advertising for it was limited and it seemed a little underwhelming walking by it.

Westin Westminster was kind of a mixed bag. The Holiday Inn Express in Amarillo and Dalhart definitely offered better rooms than at Westin Westminster, whose rooms feel a bit like a clean Days Inn with a good view. No microwave (Holiday Inn Express all had one plus a mini-sink). No breakfast options. Low pressure in the shower. This is a property that uses cheap sliding frosted glass doors on the bathroom that don't lock. These types of doors would be pretty embarrassing for those sharing a room with family, friends, or coworkers as there's very little privacy. The refrigerator froze everything inside on Night #1 and was having refrigerant issues making gurgling sounds. Maintenance was up in 10 minutes to replace it and was super nice, but the replacement had the same problems and everything froze again on Night #2 so we gave up. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful with requests, so I give service 5 stars, but on Saturday morning when we dialed "0" we had to call several times before anyone would pick up at the front desk. I assume this is a staffing problem. Conference space was excellent with good access to parking and elevators. The Southwestern restaurant downstairs was very friendly but holy cow, the enchiladas had some serious heat, too much even for me, but the quality was great. I put the leftovers in the fridge but they froze solid. Oh well! We got a great to-go sandwich at the nice deli stand across from the gift shop.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Westin Westminster! From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The hotel itself is beautiful — modern, spotless, and thoughtfully designed for both comfort and relaxation.
